A: Elizabeth Hyde Stevens is a writer and researcher. Her Muppet studies have appeared on The AwlRolling Stone, The Millions, and Electric Literature websites. She lives in Somerville Massachusetts and is a member of the Kilgore Trout Home for Wayward Writers in Brooklyn. She teaches “Muppets, Mickey, and Money” at Boston University.

A: Mr. Gourd a famous author. He can’t for the life of him figure out why anyone would want to know his personal information such as where he went to school or what his job is. That stuff isn’t that interesting. It’s really all fiction, so wouldn’t you rather read about a man who falls in love with a wolf? A girl addicted to porn… or a one-hundred-year-old man searching for enlightenment in the Amazon? Now that’s interesting!
